Jim Fixx was an exercise legend in his own time, credited with kicking off America’s fitness revolution in the late 1970s. In 1984, Fixx was on a seven kilometer run when he collapsed and died at the age of 52. An autopsy subsequently revealed that he had suffered from severe coronary artery disease, even as he projected an
image of health and vitality to the rest of the world.  Author and nutrition expert Ted Aloisio says that, while Fixx’s death was certainly shocking, it shouldn’t have been so surprising.  According to Aloisio, many slim, physically active men and women are actually walking time bombs, destined to die prematurely, because of unhealthy eating practices.
“Believing that fit and healthy are one and the same has cost many people their lives,” just as it did Jim Fixx, he says.
On your show, Aloisio will explain how to be fit and healthy without following countless rules and without sacrificing quality of life.
He will also:
• Explain why all “diet foods” should be avoided.
• Reveal why most supplements are useless.
• Discuss heavy metal contamination.
• Share how to cleanse your body of toxins.
• Reveal the “Four Horsemen of the
Nutritional Apocalypse.”
