Thanks in part to an economic slump, many charities such as the Wounded Warrior Project are struggling to raise funds for the benefit of America’s veterans.

The Wounded Warrior Project, a national charity dedicated to enlisting aid for severely injured servicemen and women, is one of several organizations supported by T.K. Marion, whose Civil War adventure novel, Kill The Devil, illustrates the sacrifices which all soldiers, past and present, must make in support of freedom.

Marion says, today, more than ever, veterans’ charities need the support of those who can afford to give.

On your show, he will:

• Explain the Wounded Warrior Project’s mission, and tell audience members how they
can support it.

• Share inspiring stories of courage, based on profiles of injured veterans.

• Offer advice on how to help in other ways.

CREDENTIALS: Marion’s campaign to increase awareness of the Wounded Warrior Project began when he founded the Thirteen Stars Foundation, a non-profit organization which also provides scholarships for persons with cystic fibrosis and funding to help eradicate illiteracy. He is the author of KILL THE DEVIL: A Novel Of The War Between The States (Thirteen Stars Press, 2007).
