Serio lived in Russia for seven years and is the only American ever to work in the Organized Crime Control Department of the Soviet police. He says the Russian mob is nothing like its U.S. counterpart that deals mainly in prostitution, gambling, and murder for hire; instead the Russians focus on white collar crimes and are extremely dangerous.
