Before reaching for that “harmless” soap, cleaning product or even “health food”…be afraid. Be very afraid! So says consumer safety advocate Kathy Loidolt, who spent years researching common items and foods that contain potentially toxic ingredients.
The busy mom of four struggled with her kids’ health and behavior problems, and medical issues of her own. She concluded that the foods and products they were using were at the root of this. Loidolt made drastic changes to her family’s eating habits and the things they used, replacing them with pure, natural items. The results were miraculous.
This down-to-earth, well-informed guest will reveal that:
• Common soaps, beauty lotions and shampoos often contain prycol, better known as anti-freeze.
• Shower water may be slowly poisoning you, and what you can do about it.
• So-called “health foods” like soy may be bad for you, because they are genetically modified, and can cause inflammation.
• Fish oil, honey and garlic may prevent or alleviate everything from bad moods to wrinkles, allergies, heart disease and cancer.
• Foods mentioned in the Bible, such as olive oil, are far better for you.
“Five stars...especially recommended for novice housewives (and house-husbands).”
